ELA Announces CarePlus Selected for Prestigious Private Hospital Perth WA, 21 July 2009 Ramsey Health Care (ASX RHC) today selected ELA’s CarePlus, to upgrade sixteen (16) general, emergency and surgical wards ensuring Hollywood Hospital remains one of the largest and most modern private hospitals in Australia. This upgrade complements the $125 million expansion providing an additional six, high technology (CarePlus) wards. Hollywood Hospital selected CarePlus after a three month trail of the CarePlus in the “Woods Ward”. The hospital project team offered a competitive trial to Nurse Call Supplier; Sedco Communications, (Wangara, Western Australia) which was completed providing a system comparison. CarePlus will integrate the patient call buttons in rooms and at beds into various communication systems throughout the hospital. Integration includes; paging, VOIP telephony, ward signs, large screen information boards, email, PDA’s, wireless telephony and Building Management Systems (BMS) including duress systems. CarePlus will combine these disparate systems into a simple interface “Ward Status” available on any hospital PC via a web interface. CarePlus provides extensive reporting and Business Intelligence software capabilities providing significant workflow efficiencies and improve patient safety.
